Brood of the Outerfish pg. 29

Hey hey!

I missed posting a page last Thursday because of some day-job duties, so sorry about that. You know how it is.

I had fun with this page, though I’m not convinced of how well the layout works, past emphasizing the importance of this here object. You may remember this object from a recent page: THIS ONE HERE

Anyway I have some pages comin’ up that I’m quite excited about. Been drawin’ ‘em while listening to some metal music and the soundtrack to SWORD & SWORCERY (which I haven’t had a chance to play yet). Can’t think of many better ways to draw fantasy comics than accompanied by some metal, ya dig?

Also I read issue 6 of James Stokoe’s ORC STAIN last night and GOOD GOD DAYM is that a doosey of a good comic. PICK IT UP, YO.

    • Oh man , this is so awesome.  Check out this guy’s stuff.  My favorite is the mummy warrior.  Excellent work, man!

      I drew this big picture where all these rough and tumble dudes are roughin and tumblin. What are they fighting about? We will never know because jelly cube will clearly be the only one left standing at the end, and homeboy don’t talk much.

    • Joann Sfar is one of my favorite living cartoonists, author of such awesome works as The Rabbi’s Cat and Vampire Loves, as well as co-author of the amazing, incredible DUNGEON series.

      So I can’t wait to see this documentary all about his career.  Check out the little scene here.  INSPIRING STUFF.
