Here’s page 4!  I’m really happy with this page, even though I’m not sure how easy it is to really see the guy who is lugging Prometheus’ cage away from Mt. Olympus.

Anyway, the last page is coming up on Friday, and then on Monday there shall be the first pages from a new OF WHAT KIND? comic entitled:

“OF WHAT KIND & THE BROOD OF THE OUTERFISH”

Pretty silly name, I know.  I’m already having tons of fun drawing it and it’s going to be good, I think.

It’s Monday, so that means a new comic page for you guys!

This particular Monday is July 26th, which means a birthday for me!  I was born, 23 years before today, at 8:37 in the AM, and as I emerged, a loud, clashing gong sound rang through the world, and all of humanity knew their savior had come.

Or something!

Anyway, here’s more of Prometheus, hope you guys are liking it.  Next page up Wednesday!

PS: Is it super lame that it’s my birthday and all I wanna do is draw comics?  Answer: NOPE.

Here’s page 2, as promised!  Hope you guys are liking it, this comic was a learning experience for me, both in drawing digitally and in drawing animals (which I very rarely do).

Anyway, there are more comics in the work now that I have a week until this whole story is finished posting.  Should be some fun stuff coming up, including some fantasy comics (which I’ve been dying to get back to), so stick around, why don’t cha?

I told you there’d be new comics soon!  And yes, I know it’s Thursday, but whatever.  So long as comics are being posted!

This is the first comic I’ve ever drawn entirely (and I do mean ENTIRELY) on my computer using my much-adored new tablet and Manga Studio (which is awesome).  I like it looks pretty poppin’ fresh, if yer’ pickin’ up what I’m puttin’ down.

I did this as a submission for the next volume of the Boston Comic Roundtable’s excellent anthology INBOUND.  The theme for the new issue is “FOOD”, which this comic fits to an extent and doesn’t at all in other ways.  Hopefully it gets published, because that would be rad, and I could be at a bar and be like:

“Hey, ladies, check out this comic I’m published in.  Yeah, it’s pretty cool, I know. Numbers?”

Anyway, I hope you guys will enjoy this one, it’s 5 pages long and will be done posting NEXT Friday.  The 2nd page will be up tomorrow!

READ FROM THE BEGINNING

FINALLY!!! After nearly a month (one day under a month), the finale of Jet Pack Baby is here!  And boy is it anticlimactic and probably underwhelming!  That’s just how we do things over here at Good Show, Sir! HQ.  I’m probably just being overly self-critical, actually.

But anyway, sorry I got so sidetracked.  This past month has been all about applying for jobs (making comic cover letters) and making comics for publication (hopefully!).  It’s been a busy month, but it’s been good.

I also got a new Wacom Tablet which I’ve been using to make even better, more FUTURISTIC comics.  Three fourths of this part of JPB were inked on a computer.  THE FUTURE, MAN.

Anyway, remember when I said I was going to do new comics every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday?  Yeah so I was lying then, but I’m serious now!  There will be the first page of a new comic, WHAT’S EATING PROMETHEUS?, up here tomorrow, and then every MWF after that.

COME HELL OR HIGHWATER.

READ FROM THE BEGINNING

Well, I completely screwed up that self-imposed deadline.  Oh well, it’s all up from here!

So yeah, here’s the third set of pages, the last set to be posted HOPEFULLY Wednesday, but we’ll see.

I think the first page in this set has a bit of an overly-busy layout, but overall I’m happy with this set of pages.  Hope you guys are liking it!

Hope you guys are liking it, page 3 should be up on Monday.  Speaking of, I’m going to try to shoot for a Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule starting next week.  So three days a week you should be getting new comics!  If I can handle it, we shall see.

Criminals take heed, Jet Pack Baby is on patrol.

This is a really silly character I randomly doodled about a year ago, intending to make a comic about him eventually.  And here it is!  This is the first of three pages, the next batch should be online on Friday I reckon.

In other news, the Maine Comics Arts Festival (which was actually weeks ago, but oh well) went really well!  People seemed to really enjoy the Census Comic, and I made about 70 bucks from sales!  It was a very good time, and made me want to go to a ton more shows this coming year.

I’m also going to try and be more regular with my comic updates.  You can’t find success in webcomics without regularly posting comics, so in that spirit I will be posting more often.  It’s just difficult as I now have a day job!

This was a big one!

And it was TONS of fun to draw.  I drew the bulk of it in the last 24 hours (6 pages to be exact!) and while it was hectic, it was also really great, and allowed me to concoct all sorts of fun creatures.  I also really enjoy drawing the little guy (named Adam) that stars in this pick-cha book.

This comic was inspired by my own life, as I have recently become a census taker.  It has led to some interesting scenarios, and is overall a nice job.  Basically, as I wander around to various houses this comic idea came to me!

In more important news, I’m going to be at the Maine Comics Arts Festival this Sunday in Portland!  I’m going to have a table with some friends of mine, selling printed copies of both this and OF WHAT KIND.  It should be a blast, so come on by!

FINALLY!

I am so totally back from my Deep 6′ed hiatus, with one new page today and another tomorrow or the next!  I’m trying real hard to finish this up so’s I can have the finished story printed up and ready for sale at MCAF (which is on May 22nd in Portland, ME.  BE THERE.)
