So it’s been a bit since the last page, apologies and all.  I’ve been working on some interesting other projects that I should be able to show you all soon.

Nearing the end of this here story, I think, but it won’t be the last you see of our intrepid naut. I’m also going to be changing around the format of this site, possibly drastically, so watch out for that!

This is awesome and very flattering, and let’s hope Fiercemild puts up some more drawings!

A beard as enigmatic and exhilarating as that must hold many secrets within it!  Hopefully no ancient slumbering nether-beasts.

I originally drew this big ol’ monster as just a normal ol’ monster, but then decided it would be way cooler if he was fucking GIGANTIC.

I also colored this one in photoshop, which was fun to tinker in.  Pretty happy with how it turned out, took about an hour and a half to color.

If only I had the balls to get “LOLZ” tattooed on my knuckles.  Maybe some day.

So I’m not completely sure where this guy came from, but I think it had something to do with the fact I was watching Air Force One when I drew this, which is just chock fulla Russians.

That’s what I like about the sketching process; I’ll draw a face, then some skulls, then suddenly decide that “Hey, this guy is a commandant of Death, whatever that means.”

Improvisational drawing is just BUCKETS O’ FUNS.

DUNE is easily one of my favorite books of all time.  Fiercely intelligent, beautifully written and endlessly compelling, it is environmentalist science fiction blended with a powerful dose of philosophy.

So I drew Paul Atreides (Muad’Dib, the Kwisatz Haderach) holding his father’s ducal ring and reciting one of my favorite lines from the book.

Bottom line: DUNE rules and everyone should read it.

You know what I always say: watch out for tiny eyeballs with arms and legs that ride AT-ATs.  They can’t be trusted.

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS

I’m a fan of playing D+D.  You get a good crew together, you kill stuff, you adventure, lotta fun.  But what I love even MORE than D+D is drawing while playing D+D.

See, D+D does something to a person, it unlocks the creative side of their brain.  Lets the imagination run wild, which is something everyone should find time for in their lives.

Anyway, this is a depiction of my friend Gage’s character, who died after trying to have sex with a foxy broad who turned out to be a hag.  So he died naked on the floor as we tried to defeat her.  My character finally did by scything her in her mean ol’ haggish GUT.

This was drawn with Micron pens, Copic markers and IMAAAAAAAAAGINATION.
